Who We Are
Due The Right Things (DTRT) is a non-profit grassroots organization serving the Hampton Roads/Coastal Virginia region established to help citizens engage with government, politics, and community. We promote fairness, trust, and accountability, and opportunity for all.
The Mission
Founded in 2021 by community leaders of all backgrounds from government, politics, business, entertainment, non-profit, and faith-based organizations to engage the public in building stronger communities and educating citizens on issues that will impact them. DTRT provides leadership training for corporate, non-profit, and aspiring politicians. DTRT connects people with programs, information, resources, mentors, and networks to help find solutions.
The Movement
DTRT will engage with the community and our public officials to develop good public policy and programs that invest in education, jobs, health care, affordable housing, job creation, and small business development. DTRT works to protect your voting rights. DTRT brings to light government accountability, transparency, trust. DTRT helps to right the wrongs and helps put people on equal footing. It's time to do the right things!
